Rafelcofer is a little village of 1500 inhabitants in the Valencia Province. It's located 3 kms South of Gandia and 4 kms North of Oliva in the heart of the Safor region.
The mountain massif of the Safor surrounds the scene from the top of it's 1000 meters above the sea level. With his many rivers, the area boasts a rich and varied vegetation, as well as an intensive cultivation of oranges and tangerines.
A roughly 100 meters high hill overlooks Rafelcofer: it's the Monte Rabat which inspired us to named the house. Archealogical findings dating back to the Iberian civilization, predating the Roman invasion, were discovered there.
A vacation paradise, this area will appeal to nature lovers with its mountainous interior, perfect for walking, mountain biking and cycling. Kilometers of uncrowded roads allow cyclists to indulge their favorite sport throughout the year, thanks to the exceptional climate in the region.
The beach and water sport lovers are not left unsatisfied: a white sandy beach, stetching for tens of kilometers, is located 5 km from the village of Rafelcofer and exceed all expectations...from deserted beaches to trendy and connected areas, there is something for everyone.
Approximately 70 km from Rafelcofer is the pleasant and dynamic metropolis of Valencia. The city with more than 800,000 inhabitants. The "City of Arts and Science", including the largest aquarium in Europe, is an architectural marvel designed by Calatrava.
